What is our enrollment process?
Due to extremely high demand for quality care in Portland, Purple Moon has moved over to a managed waitlist system using our parent engagement application, Procare. Through our waitlist, we will send invitations to tour our sweet little schools, opportunities for classroom visits and offers of enrollment. All interested families should first sign-up for our waitlist. There is a one time $45 non-refundable fee to join the waitlist.
Although most of our new students join us summer and fall, Purple Moon offers rolling enrollment throughout the year. Purple Moon opens our pre-enrollment for our fall programs the spring prior. We will host a Spring Open House and host monthly group off-hours tours.
After your tour, if you love what you see and hear, we will then invite you and your child back for a 45 minute “Get to know you classroom visit” from 9-9:45am. This visit has three goals;
It provides you the important opportunity to see how your child responds to our environment.
It provides you the opportunity to meet your child’s potential classmates and teachers.
It provides us the opportunity to meet your child.
Depending on the opening (whether it is immediate, or you are pre-enrolling for fall) after your visit Purple Moon may send an enrollment offer which you will have 48 hours to respond to.
